As a UX/UI Engineer in Frontiers, I contribute to my cross-functional team by crafting intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces while ensuring seamless user experiences. My work involves leveraging the latest features of Vue 3 to create responsive and efficient internal applications. I collaborate closely with my Backend and API pals to show and mutate the data as required, and the Design and Product teams to translate design concepts into high-quality code, striving for performance and accessibility. I also have experience creating custom Vue components for the project needs when the corporate components library is lacking.
In addition to my technical expertise, I try to apply my background on design via user-centered design principles, focusing on the results we collect from usability testing and integrating user feedback into iterative design improvements. I am adept using Vue 3 with Composition API, and familiar with Nuxt 3 and Tanstack Query, among some other frameworks and libraries. I can handle myself with AzureDevops repos, and used to Scrum and Agile ceremonies.

My role at Sonneil's Tech Team consists of working close to the Marketing department, giving shape, design and function to their actions and requirements as a Front-End Developer, but also evolving our products and platforms by contributing to the Tech departments sprints. My tasks include the maintenance and evolution of our core products frontend, coding of promotional landing pages and microsites, creation of email marketing templates, setup of automatic processes for lead collection, design and UX/UI support and other front tasks for internal projects. Oh, and I sometimes write posts for the Tech department blog.

Other experience
Writing
I have experience writing texts of very different nature. Fiction literature has always interested
me and I write in my spare time, but I've also worked as an editor for blog articles and
chronicles for collaborative news portals, as well as essays for college.
Illustration
I have submitted fanart for some web platforms and participated with original art in several fanzines. I enjoy making visual
concepts for stories (both mine and other's). I often use my drawing skills to make gifts within my inner circle and have made some concept art commissions for friends.
Animation
I've always felt admiration for 2D and 3D Animation. I got the chance to study it theoretically, practice it both in the traditional and digital way, and finally transmit my humble knowledge to new students.
Creativity
I find it easy to create and conceptualize new universes and characters, and usually do so without even noticing.
Organization and Planning
For me it's essential to find the best way to work without wasting time and tend to build automated routines to avoid repetitive work. I am also very keen on planning, which I find is a key part of teamwork.
Computers
I have knowledge in solving technical problems (computer assembly, formatting and registry cleaning,
installation of operating systems, etc.).
Video games and board games
I've always enjoyed video games since I was a child, specially those of the RPG/JRPG and graphic adventure genre. I also often play board games, a frequent activity in my friend meetings. We have a couple of projects to build our own games.
Volunteering
I've rescued cats and managed a sort of cat colony in the past. Nowadays I contribute with my design skills to help the Felinos Lo Morant association. I do my bit via designs, publications and posters, so that their cats can find the right home. I've also been responsible of their charity calendars for 2021 and 2022 (photography, design and texts).
